The brief
Halden makes stoneware in small batches from a converted boathouse in Copenhagen. Their old site sold out of every collection in hours, and still felt like a template. They wanted something that slowed people down without slowing the shop.
The approach
The identity grows from the potter's wheel: a single rotating mark that changes speed with the season's collection. Typography is set tight and quiet, so the glazes do the talking. Product pages open on the object at true scale, and every photo was shot in the same north light.
It finally feels like walking into the studio.
The result
A calmer shop that still sells out, just more gracefully. Launches now run over days instead of minutes, the waitlist became a community, and the wheel mark turned into the studio's packaging seal.
