The brief
Two friends opened a roastery that brings the patience of Kyoto's kissaten to Lisbon's street corners. They needed a brand that felt calm, warm and a little bit ceremonial.
The approach
The mark is the bloom: the moment fresh coffee meets hot water and rises. Each origin gets its own bloom pattern and colour, printed on uncoated paper bags that age nicely in the hand. The signage borrows the proportions of old Lisbon tiles.
The result
A small brand with a big presence. The bags became the most photographed thing in the shop, right after the coffee.
